Played in sub-Varsity games for Marshall at defensive back and receiver in 2007. Originally from "Down Under," Lips is the first Austrailian to play for Herd but graduated from nearby Paintsville (Kentucky) H.S. He is from Herrons Creek in New South Wales, Aust.
