| Fourth-year walk-on for Herd has really blossomed his senior season. Set or tied nine career-bests in game at Wright State, including career-high 15 points and six rebounds. Topped career-best 30 minutes played at WSU by playing 32 minutes versus Morehead State. Against the Eagles, he also picked up his first career block. In home game against ETSU, Marshall got the first start of his career in now 38 games played. He has been key to the 4-2 start for the Herd under first-year head coach Donnie Jones, as designated point guard Pierre Marie Altidor-Cespedes was injured in the opener and Darryl Merthie was just cleared to play about three hours before the East Tennessee State game in Huntington, having missed both exhibition games and the opener. Marshall has 39 (1.0) career assists and just 26 turnovers (.67) in 39 career games, but this year has 17 assists and just eight turnovers in six games while scoring a career-best 5.5 points per game. |
