2007: Injured knee in pre-season practice, will sit out and re-join team for 2008 and 2009 (using red-shirt for 2007). Named team captain anyway and was pre-season Conference USA Defensive Player of Year, and was on Lombardi and Nagurski watch lists.
2006: C-USA Defensive Player of Year and Sophomore All-American for CollegeFootballNews.com. 77 tackles, 11.0 sacks and 19.0 tackles for loss to lead C-USA in latter two categories. All-C-USA for media and coaches.
2005: Played in 11 games as true frosh, named to cfn.com Honorable Mention Freshman All-American team. Had 40 tackles, seven tackles for loss and three sacks. |
