The offense has been efficient and the defense has been very effective. The defense has only allowed six first half points total throughout the season.

The 2014 Edition of the Marshall Thundering Herd entered the season with more expectations than any Marshall football squad since 1999. The schedule, due to Louisville buying out of a scheduled trip to Huntington, was one of the multitude of reasons the Herd was predicted to go undefeated.

Ten Months ago, Marshall fans, staff, and players assumed that their next home game would be just one week later for the CUSA championship against Rice. However, due to some number crunching, and rules interpretations that still to this day leave people scratching their heads, that did not happen. Marshall finally got to play that next home game this past Saturday against Rhode Island.

Projected Depth Chart

Projected Depth Chart

The first two weeks of camp have come and gone. Marshall is expected to have one of its best seasons in school history. The fact that there hasn’t been a whole lot of noticeable movement on the depth chart should indicate how solid the team is. Today, I am going to take a stab at what I think the depth chart will be when it is released in the coming days or week.
