White Weighs Options

Marshall has just concluded its most successful gridiron football season in recent memory. With a win in the Military Bowl, the Herd would end the season with double digit wins for the first time since Byron Leftwich assisted in the Herd accomplishing that feat all the way back in 2002. One of the strengths of this team has been its play at the defensive back position.

Marshall will lose two defensive backs to graduation, and a starting safety will be a senior next season. In addition, three of the returners in the secondary have battled injuries throughout their careers, Darryl Roberts, Keith Baxter, and A.J. Leggett.
