Ahmad Richards is a standout cornerback prospect from Dunbar High in Fort Myers and Scout caught up with him to discuss the latest.

Ahmad Richards played his junior season at Clewiston before transferring to Dunbar High as a senior. He's helped lead them to a state playoff berth, something they'll begin this Friday.

"I have 47 tackles and five interceptions," said Richards.

At 6-feet and 165 pounds, Richards is a talented cover guy who talked about the recruiting process.

"I'm interested in Marshall, Central Michigan, Ohio, East Carolina, Middle Tennessee, and Nebraska," he said.

While waiting on offers from those schools, Richards says he does have two that stand out over the rest.

"I really like Marshall and Central Michigan," he said. "Central Michigan, I love the atmosphere, the campus, the colors, their schedule, and one of my old coaches played there. Marshall, I like the conference they play in and I like their defense they play."

The talented cornerback prospect talked about what he'll be looking for in a school.

"I'm looking for a good education and good coaches," he said.
