Sean Avant is one of the top wide receiver prospects in Broward County this season and he talked about his senior season.
"It's been going alright," Avant said. "We're more of a running team (this year). We have five backs who run the ball well and a young QB so I don't get many balls but anything to win I'm a team player."
Avant, 6-feet and 170 pounds, has not scheduled any official visits yet but has a few schools actively recruiting him still.
"Marshall, Bowling Green, UCF, FIU, and I talk to Wake Forest but not that much," he said. "And South Alabama."
Avant isn't ready to single out any favorites from that group.
"Not right now," he said. "I'll have to make visits to those schools to compare them."
The standout receiver talked about what he'll be looking for when choosing a school.
"A great accounting class because that's what I'll be majoring in, coaches I can bond with for four years, a place I feel like at home, a place I can play early at, and a spread offense who tosses the rock around."
