Doc Holliday released a statement regarding new public information about senior running back Martin Ward. It is still unclear whether Ward wil play this Saturday in the Green and White Game, but he will remain on the team. Freshman Remi Watson, and freshman walk on Kevin Rodriguez should get the bulk of the carries Saturday. Ward will return as one of the Herd's best special teams players.

Regarding published reports of an April 1 incident involving RB Martin Ward:

Statement from Doc Holliday:

"We were aware of the issue and it is being dealt with internally."

Stats: Ward played in 11 games in 2011 and had four carries for 20 yards to go along with three kick returns for 45 yards.
